Noushi is a 33-year-old homemaker living in her home town Mahe. She is also known as Najira Naushad.

Naushad has been best known for her travel journey. Her upcoming trip, which will start in Qatar and be started by driving a Thar.

For this soccer-obsessed woman, who has always enjoyed to travel on adventurous journeys, it was a dream come true when Transport Minister Antony Raju flagged off the journey in front of village panchayat.

She and her Thar, affectionately referred to as “Olu” (meaning woman in local slang), would arrive in Oman by ship after travelling from Mumbai via Coimbatore.

She would then travel by road, passing through Arab nations like the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia before arriving in Qatar, which is this time hosting the FIFA World Cup.

Noushi claimed, for the first time woman from Kerala may be travelling overseas to the GCC countries to witness the football World Cup.

She has taken some solo journeys throughout India. Although it may be unfathomable to us that a young woman would drive to Qatar.
