UDOT to start express lane tolling on new I-15 section north of Layton | News, Sports, Jobs

Tolling for solo drivers will begin as soon as Monday, Oct. 31, 2022, in the express lanes on the new section of Interstate 15 between the Roy and Layton areas. The lanes have been open to all motorists, without tolling, up to now. The 10-mile section was focus of a widening project largely completed early in 2022. This Jan. 10, 2022, photo shows a section of the roadway in the Clearfield area, when tolling was not yet activated.
